What is LRF Hunt? Where and How is it done?

What is LRF?

It is known as fishing technique with light fishing gear and fake baits, which means Light Rock Fishing. As the name suggests, it is a type of hunting that is generally done in rocky areas, in areas such as piers, breakwaters, and breakwaters. LRF fishing can be done both in the sea and in fresh waters, namely lakes. The best part is that no matter what the target fish is, you can catch the fish using the appropriate bait. Even with the right equipment and technique, you can catch any fish in the water if the fishing area is suitable for the LRF method.

The basis of the LRF method was laid in Japan and is used in many countries today. The purpose of this method, which has become popular in a short time, is to enjoy. In terms of materials such as machinery, rods and bait, LRF differs from other fishing techniques.

Feeds Used in LRF Method

There are all kinds of fakes in the market. Lures, spoons, silicone worms, lrf jigs and fish-like fake baits have many color and model options. As you get into the business, you will recognize the most used baits and must have in your bag, and you will get them. You will also use different baits depending on the type of fish to be hunted and the pasture.

Line Selection in LRF Method

In the LRF method, the choice of fishing line also changes according to your preference. Because you can use monofilament, fluorocarbon or braided fishing line according to the fish you are targeting, the conditions of the environment and your habits. Using thin line can be more exciting as it increases the throw distance.

There are many people who use fishing line. You can also use fishing line, but don't hesitate to pay for the best yarn to get the job done. LRF is really interesting fishing, eating small can jump big fish. In such cases, it is recommended to use rope in order not to regret it. Because the baits and weights we use are very light, the rope is more advantageous in terms of long distance shooting and durability. We do not have a chance to reach this thinness and strength with a fishing line.

Fish that can be caught by LRF Method

With the LRF method, which has not become widespread in our country yet, many fish such as horse mackerel, bluefish, sea bass, rock fish, scorpionfish, ispari, kikla, hani and lapin can be caught.

The LRF method, which makes fishing enjoyable, is also very effective in catching fish such as bream, sea bream, minakop, mermaid and ammunition. With this method, at the right place and at the right time, many fish can be caught easily and with pleasure.

LRF Rod Selection

LRF rods can be segmented or telescopic. Since we use light and small baits in the LRF method, you should prefer low-throw rods.

LRF rods are also divided into several types among themselves. When fishing small fish such as horse mackerel, horse mackerel, butt, you should prefer the aji rod, which is the thinnest and lightest LRF rod with the smallest horse. If the fish in your target is bigger, you should use a Mebaru rod. If you are targeting species such as sea bass, scorpionfish, bream, ambling, you should prefer a slightly harder rod. Short rods are generally preferred in terms of length, but the most important factor is the value of the pitch.

LRF Machine Selection

Fishing machines used in LRF technique should also be small and light. It is also important that it has a low winding and a shallow head. Its shallow head is for easy exit from the machine when using thin threads.

Depending on the target fish and the shape of the catch, medium winding machines can also be used. It is more correct to decide by seeing the harmony of the reed and the machine.
